High School Donors
High School Blood Donors made up roughly 20% of blood donations in 2008, and now that 16-year-old donors are embracing the act, that number is likely to increase dramatically.
To donate, students should be 17 or older OR 16 with a signed CBB parental consent form; weigh at least 110 pounds and be in general good health. Please eat a big breakfast (and we mean BIG) if you plan to donate in the morning. If signed up to donate in the afternoon, please do not skip lunch. No tattoos or piercings from a tattoo parlor (or friend ... ouch!) in the last 12 months. PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED.
