The Current State of Things…
At the start of each month we will be updating you on where our inventory levels are at. As we continue to experience higher than usual usage from several of our partner hospitals, we urge you to remember to donate as soon as you are eligible.
To help with donor turnout, we’ve planned some new and exciting promotions throughout the year, which means you’ll continue to hear from us a lot more than usual! Make sure you’ve updated your preferences in the Communication tab of your donor portal. If you haven’t already opted in to recieve text messages from us, text BLOOD to 444-999 to do so. You’ll earn 50 points toward the CBB point store when you opt-in!

By now you may have been contacted by Incept, a company that is helping us fill our appointment schedules for our Erie Donor Center as well as our mobile drives. We understand that this has been an adjustment, and appreciate your patience as we continue to make adjustments. We heard your feedback about the frequency with which they were calling and want to assure you that this has been corrected. Have additional feedback, concerns or questions? Please don’t hesitate to contact us! Thanks to this initiative, we have welcomed back many lapsed and super-lapsed donors … some of whom haven’t donated since the 1990s! We’re so happy to see you again!
A Quick Reminder…
A few of you reached out to us about not receiving your Donor Card after your first donation, and we just wanted to remind you that this practice was retired when we began using the Donor Portal. Once you’ve created your profile all of the same information from your Donor Card will be available to you via the portal … and more!
