Austin's Story

"We are forever grateful for our Community Blood Bank and for all of the donors who so faithfully donate their time and blood products to help other children and families in need.  While our son endured liver failure and other diagnoses at birth, he received over 35 transfusions of blood and blood products throughout his two-month journey in the NICU.  Without these products being available, our son would have never made it through his journey to be the vibrant, fun, loving 2-year old he is today.  We hope everyone that is able to donate will take the time to make a difference in the life of another, through the simple way of giving back! Thank you for our hearts to yours!"
