Here are other ways you can help CBB eliminate blood shortages within our community.
Become a Volunteer
Volunteers play a vital role in maintaining a safe blood supply for our community. Volunteers at Community Blood Bank can help with a variety of tasks:
Dial for Donors: Volunteers can spend time at Community Blood Bank calling donors - thanking them for their donation and encouraging them to donate again!
Donor Concierge: Volunteers can spend time at Community Blood Bank talking with donors after their donation to ensure they had a great experience and encourage them to schedule their next donation.
Interested in being a volunteer at Community Blood Bank? Reach out to Sara Macarata, Recruitment Manager at sara.macerata@fourhearts.org or (814) 456-4206.
Financial Contributions
Please consider making a monetary donation to Community Blood Bank. Monetary donations help us provide additional incentives for blood donors, update lifesaving equipment, and ultimately support more lives saved in our community. Donations can be made online, by phone, or by mail.
You can also make an even greater impact by sponsoring a Community Blood Bank event, such as a blood drive or Donor Appreciation Day. Event sponsorships help offset costs, enhance the donor experience, and allow us to reach more people in need of lifesaving blood. Sponsorship opportunities are a meaningful way for businesses, organizations, and individuals to give back while gaining visibility in the community.
