Become a Volunteer

 

Volunteers play a vital role in maintaining a safe blood supply for our community. Volunteers at Community Blood Bank can help with a variety of tasks:

 

Dial for Donors: Volunteers can spend time at Community Blood Bank calling donors  - thanking them for their donation and encouraging them to donate again!

 

Donor Concierge: Volunteers can spend time at Community Blood Bank talking with donors after their donation to ensure they had a great experience and encourage them to schedule their next donation.

Host a Blood Drive

 

Inspiring others to give blood by hosting a blood drive at your business,school, church or other organization is a rewarding way to benefit your community.

GR8 Givers Program

How it works:

  • You choose a week to sponsor at our Erie Donor Center. 
  • Our team creates marketing materials to share with your group, and supporters of your group.
  • Get at least 8 people to donate during that week                       (Because 8 pints = 1 gallon!)
  • Each group member will receive a thank you gift when you donate
  • Your group of 8 or more will be entered to win our monthly $50 GR8 Givers giveaway.

Financial Contributions

Please consider making a monetary donation to Community Blood Bank.  Monetary donations are used to provide more incentives for blood donors, update equipment and ultimately means more lived saved in our community!

 

 Monetary donations can be made online, by phone, or mail.
